Insurance, verified before every session
We verify every upcoming appointment inside your EHR, carve-outs and all, so fewer claims come back denied and your front desk stays focused on care.
We work directly inside the EHR you already use.

Benefits often sit with a different company
Many plans hand behavioral health to a separate administrator. Verifying against the name on the card returns the wrong copay and authorization rules, which is how a lot of denials start.
Most UnitedHealthcare plans run behavioral health through Optum. The copay, the authorization rules and the network all live there.
Cigna's behavioral health benefits are administered by Evernorth, with their own portal, phone tree and authorization requirements.
Many Anthem plans route behavioral health to Carelon. Checking Anthem directly returns the medical benefit, not the one you will bill.
Medicare eligibility runs through CMS's HETS system, and only after the practice files an attestation with its Medicare contractor. We help practices set this up.
Where we verify
Optum Behavioral Health
Portal, phone line, network and authorization rules all sit with Optum, not UnitedHealthcare.

Real people. Not another portal
Every appointment is worked by a trained specialist and reviewed before it reaches your chart.
Meet the teamVerification, fully handled
Thirty minutes over video. We will walk through your schedule, your payer mix and how the work would run inside your practice.
How It Works
For every upcoming session we check what insurance will cover and what the patient owes, then write it into the chart your team already uses.
What we check on every appointment
Eight checks, in the same order, every time. Pick one to see where it lands in the chart.
Who actually pays, including carve-outs to Optum, Evernorth, Carelon and Magellan.
Miss it and you bill the wrong company.
Active coverage on the date of service, not just today.
Miss it and a plan that ended last month turns into a denial.
In-network status for the clinician seeing the patient.
Miss it and the patient gets reduced or no benefits.
Copay or coinsurance for the service being billed.
Miss it and the patient pays the wrong amount, then gets a bill.
How much is met and what the patient owes at check-in.
Miss it and the patient gets a surprise bill for the full session.
Whether it is required, and when an existing one runs out.
Miss it and the session may not be paid at all.
The annual cap and how many sessions have been used.
Miss it and sessions past the cap get denied.
Coverage and place of service for virtual sessions.
Miss it and virtual sessions get denied.

Pricing questions
Mostly the size of your practice and your payer mix. More clinicians means more sessions to verify, and some payer mixes carry heavier carve-out and authorization work. We confirm your number on a short call before you commit to anything.
No. Your monthly price is based on the number of clinicians, with everything included. Your size sets one rate for every clinician, from $325 down to $200 per clinician a month, with a $3,250 monthly minimum.

Book a callAbout Us
Veriframe was founded by a clinical psychologist and a former Goldman Sachs investment professional.
Why we started Veriframe
Behavioral health practices lose real money to denials that could have been caught.
The front desk checks what it can the morning of, the carve-out gets missed, and the patient gets a bill nobody expected.
We couldn't find anyone who treated verification as its own job, so we built it.
Years of insurance verification and RCM experience behind every check
- ClinicalLed by a clinical psychologist who has seen what a surprise bill does to care.
- FinanceRun with the discipline of Goldman Sachs and institutional private equity.
- Revenue cycleOperations run by a revenue cycle veteran with more than eighteen years in the field.
The people you will work with

David Schoenberger
Chief Executive Officer
David leads Veriframe and owns the quality of the work our clients receive, from the relationship to the standard every verification is held to.
He started his career at Goldman Sachs and spent nearly a decade in institutional private equity investing. He brings the same discipline to Veriframe.

Dr. Hannah Skoff, PsyD
Chief Operating Officer
Hannah is a clinical psychologist and leads operations at Veriframe, from onboarding new practices to the quality of every verification.
She has seen firsthand what happens to care when insurance goes wrong, and built Veriframe around care rather than billing.

FAQ
The questions practices ask us most. If yours is not here, ask us on a call.
Your team verifies reactively, one patient at a time, usually the morning of. We verify your entire upcoming schedule ahead of time and write the full benefit breakdown into your EHR: carve-outs, visit limits, telehealth, cost share and anything that needs a flag. Your team starts the day with it already done.
It checks part of it. Most EHR integrations confirm a plan is active and pull basic eligibility, then stop short of the detail that drives denials: visit limits, prior authorization, telehealth coverage, deductible status and behavioral health carve-outs. We verify that full picture for every upcoming session.
Yes. We work in the EHR you already use, including AdvancedMD, ICANotes, NextGen, PracticeQ, SimplePractice, TheraNest, TherapyNotes and Valant. There is nothing new for your team to learn and no portal to log into.
Commercial plans and the behavioral health carve-outs where benefits really sit: Aetna, Cigna and Evernorth, UnitedHealthcare and Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Carelon, Magellan, and the regional and specialty plans in your market. We also set up Medicare eligibility access with you.
We operate under a signed Business Associate Agreement with your practice before any work begins. Patient information is handled under documented, secure procedures, with access limited to the named people doing the work.
Pricing is based on the size of your practice, with everything included and no per-verification fees. Practices with 5 to 10 clinicians pay a flat $3,250 a month, and the per-clinician rate steps down as you grow. See pricing
Our focus is verification, since that is where a lot of denials begin. Claims, payments and denial follow-up stay with your billing team, and they work from coverage we have already confirmed.
Onboarding is light: a signed BAA, access to your EHR and payer portals, and a short walkthrough of your workflow. Most practices are live within a few weeks, and we run extra quality checks during the first stretch.
We flag it before the visit. Urgent issues like an inactive policy or a required authorization go straight to your team. Routine notes like an unmet deductible are recorded for check-in.
Trained verification specialists, led by a Director of Client Operations with more than eighteen years in revenue cycle and overseen by our CEO and COO. Every verification follows a documented procedure and is reviewed before it reaches your chart. Meet the team
